India's Top 20 CBSE Schools
NEW DELHI -- If you want to give your child a great education, head south. At least that's what data aggregated from the marks scored by this year's class 12 students seems to suggest. A Times of India report exclusively released the results of a survey that showed schools in Tamil Nadu doing exceptionally well on this count, along with several other schools in southern India. Interestingly, even though a quarter of the total CBSE students were from Delhi region, only one school in the national capital made it to this list.
"These are not any kind of ranking but an indicator of how good the teaching process in these schools is," said an unnamed senior CBSE official to TOI. "Their schools may have higher number of students scoring 95% and above, but the overall average is an indicator of how the whole batch has performed."
